Infinity Lifestyle Brands is a force in the sports apparel industry. Since the mid-1990s, Ike has developed and managed a diverse portfolio of highly recognized consumer product brands across a wide range of sectors. He has led several legendary branding ventures and orchestrated the acquisition and repositioning of Starter Athletic, Shaq Apparel, The Sharper Image, Polaroid, Altec Lansing, Bugle Boy, Delia’s, and many others. Ike co-headed the acquisition, repositioning and disposition of the former Pillowtex Mill’s home furnishings brands which include Cannon, Royal Velvet, Fieldcrest, and Charisma. The notable performance of these investments is a testament to his career-long tenure in the apparel business as well as his selective investment approach. More recently, Ike has forged partnerships with the New York Yankees and several other professional sports teams around the world. He is expanding the Company’s scope of services and capabilities to major event production and sponsorship representation.
Ike started his career in apparel in 1988 as founder of the Franco Apparel Group. He grew the company into a leading private manufacturer and distributor of branded sportswear and childrenswear. Franco Apparel controlled manufacturing and distribution rights for the powerful U.S. professional athletic leagues. Franco produced official player jerseys and team products for the National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Hockey League (NHL), and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Franco also held licensing rights for a diverse lineup of notable childrenswear brands including Hello Kitty, New Balance, Laura Ashley Collection, and Eddie Bauer. Ike sold Franco in 2013 to focus solely on Infinity and its ventures.
Ike has achieved remarkable success in the apparel business during his 30-year career and has been featured in Entrepreneur magazine, License magazine, and Sports Edge magazine as one of the “Top 25 Leaders in the Industry to Watch”. Ike was also honored as “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the fashion industry’s Michael Awards. He is a longstanding supporter of numerous charitable and community organizations in his hometowns of Brooklyn, NY and Deal, NJ. Ike lives in the New York area with his wife, two sons, and four daughters. He is an avid sports fan and a lifelong competitive athlete.
